In Short

• Build backend services/applications for Demandbase’s Unified Data Platform.
• Develop data pipelines, APIs, and internal tools.
• Support cross-functional teams integrating with the Unified Data Platform.
• Work with open source tools to solve data warehousing problems.
• Ensure quality, discoverability, and accessibility of data.
• Lead the unification of data from multiple products.
• Utilize JVM languages for development.
• Implement strong SDLC principles.
• Engage with large scale data streaming technologies.
• Contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development roles.
• Experience with JVM languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin).
• Building distributed systems including REST APIs at scale.
• Strong understanding of SDLC principles.
• Knowledge of data strategies and data model design.
• Exposure to distributed data processing.
• Experience with large scale data streaming technologies.
• General understanding of AWS services.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code technologies.
