Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to help us build and maintain a reliable, secure, scalable and efficient real-time platform, by combining software engineering and systems engineering skills.

In Short

• Build and enhance infrastructure systems to ensure they are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Build tools and automations to streamline processes.
• Set up and manage monitoring tools to track system health.
• Work closely with development teams to improve systems efficiency and reliability.
• Implement security best practices to protect data integrity.
• Regularly evaluate production readiness of services and infrastructure.
• Manage and resolve incidents, perform root cause analyses.
• Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure configurations.
• Work in a high-paced environment with Agile teams.
• Be part of a small team involved in the end-to-end delivery process.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent technical study.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with major Cloud vendors, preferably AWS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably Postgres and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Background in CI/CD pipeline build-out.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of networking technologies.
• Experience in implementing monitoring and alerting systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
