Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own our cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines end-to-end, ensuring our AWS-hosted services are secure, scalable, observable, and cost-efficient while enabling rapid software delivery.

In Short

• Design and operate secure, highly available environments on AWS.
• Automate provisioning with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Implement security controls using IAM, CloudTrail, and more.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate via ECS.
• Deploy and monitor Node.js, TypeScript, and Python services.
• Administer PostgreSQL and Redis, automate backups.
• Configure networking components including VPCs and security groups.
• Mentor engineers on DevOps practices.
• Work with Jira and Confluence for documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on with core AWS services like IAM, EC2, S3, and more.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of IaC using CloudFormation and scripting in bash/zsh.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch and New Relic.
• Understanding of security and compliance measures.
• Proficient in networking design and management.
• Soft skills: proactive problem-solver and clear communicator.
