Overview

As the Country Finance Manager at Deel, you will spearhead all financial activities in Thailand. This pivotal role requires a qualified accountant with experience in managing accounting, tax, and financial aspects essential for scaling our business effectively in the country.

In Short

• Oversee and develop all financial activities in the country.
• Prepare and manage ledger entries, payroll, tax benefits, and contributions reports.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor day-to-day transactions and maintain up-to-date books.
• Ensure timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities.
• Oversee payroll calculations and address any payroll-related issues.
• Lead internal, external, statutory, and tax audits.
• Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Implement corrective actions for audit observations.

Requirements

• ACCA/CPA or local equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5+ years as an accountant in high-tech companies.
• Proficiency in managing Payroll ERP systems, with Netsuite experience preferred.
• Experience working in a global environment with diverse financial regulations.
• Strong Excel and office skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
• Self-motivated with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
• Service-oriented approach, collaborating seamlessly within a team.
