Overview

As a Controller at Deel, you will oversee and develop all financial activities for entities in multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards while driving process improvements.

• Oversee all financial activities ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead accounting operations including financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Drive process improvements for financial operations.
• Manage inventory accounting and develop controls for accurate reporting.
• Prepare and manage ledger entries for payroll and tax benefits.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure timely submissions to tax authorities.
• Oversee payroll accuracy and compliance with regional regulations.
• Manage regional audits and resolve audit requests.
• Work on accounting and non-accounting projects for process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in finance accounting or financial analysis.
• Experience with Netsuite is advantageous.
• Experience with multinational companies.
• Proficiency with systems and MS Office.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
