Senior Finance Specialist - Remote

Overview

Dealfront is seeking a Senior Finance Specialist to join our dynamic international accounting team and play a pivotal role in supporting our German entities' financial operations. You’ll be primarily responsible for the preparation, reconciliation of the monthly financial statements of the German entities and ensuring their compliance with HGB accounting principles.

In Short

• Prepare monthly financial statements for German entities
• Ensure compliance with HGB accounting principles
• Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledgers
• Handle daily accounting tasks including vendor bills and bank payments
• Manage fixed asset accounting
• Prepare advance VAT returns for German entities
• Engage in project work to improve internal processes
• Work independently and in a structured manner
• Contribute to decision-making with financial data analysis
• Collaborate with a diverse international team

Requirements

• Certified accountant or relevant degree in tax, accounting, or finance
• Profound knowledge of HGB accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems like Netsuite, Payhawk, SAP, or Workday
• Industry knowledge in SaaS is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Analytical mindset with a natural affinity for numbers
• Fluent in written and spoken German (C2) and English
