Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer II at dbt Labs, you will create and maintain foundational services for authentication and authorization, ensuring a secure and scalable platform for our dbt Cloud customers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming.
• Experience with API-driven applications using REST/gRPC.
• Ability to balance speed of delivery with scalable design.
• Experience with authentication protocols like SAML and OIDC.
• Strong communication skills and systematic problem-solving approach.
• Experience with log monitoring services like Datadog.
• Interest in application-level product security.
• Experience working on a distributed team.
