Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer at Dayshape, you will be part of a critical team responsible for developing integrations for global customers, ensuring successful delivery of projects while focusing on scalability and usability.

In Short

• Work independently on complex projects with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with implementation consultants and customer IT teams.
• Implement, test, and deploy Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Integrate and transform data from various sources into a unified model.
• Produce production-ready code and participate in code reviews.
• Partner with Site Reliability and Engineering teams for data solutions.
• Support production cutovers and review go-live plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing ADF processes.
• Act as a dependable contributor and problem-solver.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory or equivalent ETL tools.
• Extensive experience as a senior data or integrations engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Pyspark, or Spark.
• Proven track record in complex Data Engineering environments.
• Experience integrating external systems via REST APIs and SQL databases.
• Strong understanding of modern ETL/ELT practices and data modelling.
• Client-facing experience with the ability to translate business needs.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts.
• Collaborative and detail-oriented with a structured approach.
