• The Senior Data Engineer is part of the Self Financial Data Engineering Team.
• Focus on designing and implementing data models.
• Collaborate with Product Management to implement data models.
• Perform data model design and planning.
• Create physical and logical data models for complex datasets.
• Manage data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using SQL and Python.
• Maintain data quality standards.
• 5+ years of experience with database development and analytics tools.
• Proficient in managing Data ETL/ELT with large data sets.
• Familiarity with AWS data warehousing tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with database development, integration, and data analytics tools.
• Experience designing and implementing complex Data Warehouse and Data Lake models.
• Proficient in managing Data ETL/ELT with large data sets.
• Experience with Amazon RedShift.
• Familiarity with AWS data warehousing tools.
• Experience with Git, JIRA, Confluence.
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow and Python.
• Excellent communication skills.
