Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for Assembly & Packaging Equipment Design and Process Implementation across the Life Sciences Business Segment, ensuring alignment of equipment design and supply with business expectations.

In Short

• Lead design and implementation of assembly and packaging equipment.
• Oversee equipment refurbishment and new equipment sourcing.
• Manage vendor contracts and partnerships for large capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
• Utilize CAD software for design documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams for prototype testing.
• Implement process improvements in high-volume manufacturing.
• Support operations during production crises.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and GMP.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in packaging cost analysis.
• Ability to work independently on a manufacturing floor.
• Willingness to adhere to safety and quality requirements.
