Metrology Technician - Remote

Overview

The Metrology Technician will measure key quality characteristics of various plastic and steel components using advanced measurement equipment, assist in product design verifications, and ensure data accuracy.

• Measure with CMM, Vision, and CT scanning equipment.
• Prepare graphs, charts, and reports of collected data.
• Assist engineering in product design verifications.
• Perform measurements using mechanical inspection tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and traceability of measured data.
• Comply with safety regulations and quality policies.
• Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies.
• Work with minimal direction and prioritize duties.
• Good communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Experience using mechanical inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail-oriented with good decision-making skills.
• Understanding of simple mechanical concepts.
