Legal Specialist - Intellectual Property - Remote

Overview

The IP Legal Specialist will provide support to the Patent Department of BD, assisting patent attorneys in managing prosecution of patent applications worldwide and providing administrative support for department operations.

• Assist patent attorneys with prosecution of patent applications.
• Draft correspondence with foreign patent offices.
• Maintain internal databases and create tracking spreadsheets.

• Provide general administrative support to the Patent Department.

• 3 years of relevant IP work experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Paralegal Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
