Overview

Keoghs Scotland is seeking an experienced Casualty solicitor to join their Glasgow Casualty team, handling litigated Casualty cases for large insurers and self-insured corporates.

In Short

• Handle a varied caseload of litigated Casualty cases.
• Supervise junior team members.
• Draft legal advice and court documents.
• Manage files according to court deadlines.
• Conduct forensic reviews and assess liability and quantum.
• Investigate claims and secure evidence.
• Negotiate settlements.

• Work in a hybrid model combining office and remote work.
• 35 hours per week with flexible working options.

Requirements

• 5-10 years PQE in casualty law.
• Experience in All Scotland Personal Injury Court.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent forensic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Team player with independent working capability.
• Previous experience of time recording is preferable.
