Overview

As a Senior Claim Representative at Davies North America, you will play a crucial role in investigating and evaluating complex construction defect claims, ensuring effective negotiation and settlement.

In Short

• Negotiate and settle large complex construction defect and general liability claims.
• Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.
• Interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage.
• Plan, organize and establish priorities under critical deadlines.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.
• Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims.
• Provide monetary authority and strategy to counsel.
• Knowledge of current case law and DOI regulations.
• Evaluate, investigate, and resolve claims.
• Demonstrate sound analytical skills.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience handling complex claims.
• Prior work with OCIP and CCIP a plus.
• Juris Doctor or Bar membership desirable.
• Adjuster’s License Required.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Proactive and dependable with initiative.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
