• Perform Inpatient Facility coding audits according to scope of work.
• Provide rationale for identified changes in coding.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Organize and prioritize multiple cases for optimal workflow.
• Provide coder education through the auditing process.
• Maintain professionalism and efficiency.
• Adhere to ethical standards in health information management.
• Exhibit customer service focus and professionalism.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of facility inpatient coding experience and/or auditing.
• CCS certification required; RHIA or RHIT preferred.
• Maintain a 95% DRG accuracy rate.
• Experience with software including Epic and Cerner.
