In Short

• Responsible for maintaining the process and timely response to billing compliance audits.
• Analyze health plan reimbursement policies for coverage and documentation requirements.
• Retrieve and review documentation for insurance coverage and reimbursement.
• Log and report all received audit inquiries.
• Contact teams and physicians for additional supporting documents.
• Assist with tracking and reporting of audit findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of all audit projects and information.
• Complete all required fields in proprietary audit application.
• Assist with performance improvement programs related to billing and coding.
• Work independently and manage multiple projects.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services.
• Senior level requires two years of work-related experience and one year of exact job experience.
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME, Diabetic, Pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment.
