Overview

The Health Information Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the HIS staff. The role focuses on front line People management and training, as well as ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines.

  • Manage audit requests from payors.
  • Review data and provide solutions to clients and leadership.
  • Bring new ideas and process improvement suggestions.
  • Manage requests from the Risk Management Team.
  • Oversee escalation calls from centralized call centers.
  • Participate in project teams to advance operational strategies.
  • Coordinate with management on complex issues.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Health Information related experience.
  • Well-versed with HIPAA standards.
  • Ability to support clients and team both on-site and remotely.
  • Strong presentation skills to leadership and clients.
  • Detail-oriented regarding medical records compliance.
  • Experience with Power BI and MS Office.
