Overview

As a Director, Deal Desk at Datadog, you will work cross-functionally with various teams to provide quoting and deal structuring support to the Global Sales Team, contributing to the growth of the business.

• Develop knowledge of Datadog’s licensing and pricing models.
• Provide deal structuring and quoting support to global sales teams.
• Negotiate deals directly with customers as needed.
• Work with legal, contracts, sales operations, and finance teams.
• Drive adherence to internal controls and business rules.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Sales on deal pricing matters.
• Resolve customer satisfaction issues post-deal execution.
• Be a creative problem solver to meet customer needs.
• Function as a point of contact for sales on pricing matters.
• Support the growth of Datadog’s business.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in sales operations, finance, or sales strategy.
• 5+ years of experience with deal structuring for SaaS transactions.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience in Direct and Channel Sales models.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong quantitative skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
