Big Data Solutions Architect - Remote

Overview

As a Big Data Solutions Architect (Resident Solutions Architect) in our Professional Services team, you will work with clients on short to medium-term customer engagements on their big data challenges using the Databricks platform.

In Short

• You will work on a variety of impactful customer technical projects.
• Work with engagement managers to scope professional services work.
• Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational big data projects.
• Consult on architecture and design for customer projects.
• Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
• Collaborate with the Databricks technical team to ensure delivery meets customer needs.
• Work with Engineering and Customer Support to provide product feedback.

Requirements

• Proficient in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
• Comfortable writing code in Python or Scala.
• Working knowledge of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep experience with distributed computing and Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Knowledge of MLOps.
• Experience with technical project delivery.
• Documentation and white-boarding skills.
• Client management experience.
• Databricks Certification is a plus.
