Application Support Specialist I - Remote

Overview

The Application Support Specialist I is a vital member of the DAS Health team, providing first-line technical and functional support for healthcare IT applications, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Practice Management (PM), and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems. This role ensures the seamless operation of both clinical and administrative applications by troubleshooting issues, assisting end users, and collaborating with internal IT teams and external vendors to drive efficient solutions.

• Provide first-line technical support for healthcare IT applications.
• Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and timely resolution of support cases.
• Train clients and team members on various applications.
• Document issues using the ConnectWise ticketing system.
• Assist users with system navigation and promote effective use of applications.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Manage case backlog and meet client commitments.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in a Healthcare or Healthcare IT related field is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related Healthcare field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-call 24/7 for emergency support on a rotational basis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Electronic Health Record experience is required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• CRM documentation experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise preferred in Aprima, eMDs, and NextGen products.
