Senior Technical Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Technical Operations Engineer will ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of complex data pipelines and infrastructure in a mission-driven environment focused on Life Sciences and Healthcare.

In Short

• Own and ensure health, stability, and performance of AI-driven data platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop Python-based scripts for automation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams.
• Create and maintain operational runbooks and documentation.
• Work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years in Technical Operations, DevOps, or SRE.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS or GCP).
• SQL proficiency with data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-grade data services.
• Expert Python skills for automation.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in documentation.
• Ability to work with stakeholders in EST timezone.
• Experience in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of MLOps and deploying AI/ML models is a plus.
• Understanding of ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
