Field Services Technician - Remote

Overview

As a Field Services Technician at Cyngn, you will play a crucial role in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting autonomous robotic systems deployed at customer sites.

In Short

• Travel to customer locations for installation, repair, and maintenance of robotic systems.
• Conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis to ensure system uptime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for software updates and issue logging.
• Replace and configure hardware components as needed.
• Perform configuration changes on deployed robots.
• Interface with customers for updates and technical support.
• Maintain logs of service activities and diagnostics.
• Support initial site commissioning for new deployments.
• Assist with documentation and service procedure development.
• Participate in on-call troubleshooting rotations.

Requirements

• 2+ years in technical field service or robotics.
• Willingness to travel regularly (30–50%).
• Proficiency with Linux terminal and remote troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Capability to interpret schematics and engineering documentation.
