Maintenance Technician, Multifamily - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings and maintenance equipment for assigned properties.

In Short

• Prepare make-ready apartments including painting and repairs.
• Respond to resident requests with a professional attitude.
• Maintain grounds, pools, and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Be on-call for after-hour emergencies as required.
• Report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Deliver superior customer service at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.
• Participate in training programs as required.
• Possess a valid driver's license and necessary certifications.
• Work in varying weather conditions and travel between properties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand safety and operating instructions.
• Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to compute rates and prepare reports.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws.
