Maintenance Technician, Multifamily - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents, ensuring quality move-ins and residential satisfaction.

In Short

• Prepares make ready apartments including painting, carpet repairs, and general maintenance.
• Responds to resident requests in a timely manner with a professional attitude.
• Maintains grounds, pools, common areas, and dog park amenities.
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hour emergencies.
• Reports maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Delivers superior customer service at all times.
• Maintains safety procedures and safeguards company tools and equipment.
• Participates in training programs as required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and necessary certifications.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds and traveling between properties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance functions including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid EPA certification and any required local certifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
