Maintenance Technician, Multifamily - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents, ensuring quality move-ins and residential satisfaction.

In Short

• Prepares make-ready apartments including painting, repairs, and cleaning.
• Responds to resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Knowledgeable in maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Maintains grounds and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hour emergencies.
• Reports maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Attends training programs as required.
• Delivers superior customer service at all times.
• Maintains safety procedures and safeguards all tools and equipment.
• Achieves high productivity through reliable attendance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Valid Driver's license and relevant certifications required.
• Ability to read and understand policy manuals and safety rules.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Ability to deal with routine problems.
