Overview

The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will serve as the front line of customer support for Backcountry, handling inbound calls and chats in both English and Spanish, ensuring excellent service and timely resolution of customer inquiries.

In Short

  • Handle inbound customer calls and chats in English and Spanish.
  • Provide assistance regarding products, services, and account issues.
  • Create service tickets for every customer interaction.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow up as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with team members for seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Work full-time on a seasonal agreement for peak season.
  • Possible transition to a full-time contract after the seasonal period.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with service ticket creation.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to meet performance targets.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
