Legal Counsel, Mid-Level - Remote

Overview

The Legal Counsel at Crystal Intelligence will serve as a legal counsel for Crystal and its subsidiaries, providing day-to-day legal transactional work, operations, and risk management globally.

In Short

• Advise management on legal issues and transactions.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and potential claims.
• Support non-legal functions with legal documentation and negotiations.
• Draft, review, and amend contracts and transactions.
• Perform KYC checks and due diligence on new counterparties.
• Respond to compliance queries related to GDPR and AML/KYC.
• Ensure compliance with international and regional laws.
• Monitor changes in legislation for ongoing compliance.
• Contribute to global corporate governance.
• Maintain an up-to-date data room of legal documents.

Requirements

• 3-5 years working experience as a legal counsel or similar role.
• Masters Degree in Law or similar.
• Experience in KYC checks and due diligence (a plus).
• Experience in international companies preferred.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Experience with cross-border transactions preferred.
• Experience revising complex commercial contracts.
• Self-starter capable of operating in a start-up environment.
• Experience working with stakeholders on compliance issues.
