In Short

• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to build features supporting the renewable energy transition.
• Write readable, well-structured code focused on usability, performance, and scalability.
• Write tests and documentation alongside your code for quality and maintainability.
• Build data and ML/AI-ops infrastructure, data pipelines, and analyses.
• Participate in engineering learning and coworking sessions.
• Contribute to building team culture and developing technical best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on data.
• B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with streaming or batch data technologies (e.g. Airflow, Kafka, Spark).
• Fluent in Javascript/Typescript or Python.
• Authorized to work in the US or Canada.
• A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and desire to learn.
• Experience working on fully remote teams.

Benefits

• Annual base salary (mid career $140,000-$170,000, senior $160,000-$200,000).
