Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist at Crunchbase will manage the company's accounts receivable aging, ensuring timely payments and effective communication with customers.

In Short

• Manage Accounts Receivable aging for timely customer payments.
• Input invoice details from Salesforce into Maxio.
• Send cadence templates for open invoices.
• Prepare and send demand letters to customers.
• Conduct collection calls and email correspondence.
• Resolve discrepancies related to payments and invoices.
• Maintain organized records of collection activities.
• Prepare AR and collections reports for Finance leadership.
• Support month-end close by reconciling AR accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
• 3+ years experience in Accounting focusing on Revenue and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience with Receivables, Invoicing, and Cash Collections.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems.
