In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to define project goals and acceptance criteria.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with an eye towards observability and resilience.
• Help define and refine effective software development practices.
• Work on a mix of new features, bug fixes, and tech debt.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle.
• Share on-call responsibilities and take part in team service ownership.
• This position may require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.

Requirements

• Self-starter with minimal supervision and a track record of quick learning.
• Problem-solving ability and focus on overarching objectives.
• Experience building search, query, and/or analytic systems.
• Experience in complex development environments, especially in distributed systems and SaaS platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to various stakeholders.
• Experience with full stack web development (React frontend with Node.js backend).
• Experience developing secure and intuitive RESTful APIs.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Mocha, Cypress).
• In-depth experience with CI/CD pipelines (BitBucket, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Experience with React, TypeScript/Javascript, Node.js, and SQL.
