Overview

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing purchasing and inventory control, negotiating pricing, and ensuring accurate records of shipments and inventory management.

In Short

• Oversee purchasing and inventory control of the warehouse.
• Negotiate and secure pricing for materials.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices.
• Maintain orderly arrangement of stock.
• Utilize Yardi software for inventory tracking.
• Process purchase orders and audit received items.
• Work closely with accounts payable for timely processing.
• Set up new inventory items in the system.
• Distribute parts and maintain keys to vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No specific certifications or licenses required.
• No specific work experience required.
• Skills in data management and multitasking preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage relationships and time effectively.
