Overview

The Purchasing Coordinator will support the daily operations of Meteor’s Procurement divisions by processing customer and vendor purchase orders, creating quotes, and reviewing vendor acknowledgements/confirmations.

In Short

  • Maintain the organization of order requests in the Purchasing inbox
  • Review customer purchase orders for accuracy and communicate discrepancies
  • Process and organize all purchasing documentation
  • Enter new orders into the Delivery Schedule
  • Review vendor acknowledgements and enter ship dates
  • Maintain effective communication with project teams
  • Send product prices to sales reps
  • Assist with creating quotes for sales reps

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Proficiency in documentation management
