Overview

The IRB Review Analyst will attend committee meetings to document the committee’s actions, communicate requirements to research teams, and ensure compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies.

  • Screen research studies for compliance with federal regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison between committee members and research teams.
  • Compose meeting minutes compliant with federal regulations.
  • Provide guidance to investigators and research staff.
  • Maintain knowledge of current regulations and trends.
  • Participate in continuing education in human subject research.
  • Support coworkers as needed.
  • Review and approve research protocols.
  • Participate in SWAT! Team activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Certified IRB Professional (CIP) preferred when eligible.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and GCP.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with regulatory research.
  • Experience in clinical research is a plus.
