As a Software Engineer I at Medtronic, you will lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that impact healthcare access and equity worldwide.

In Short

Design and implement next-generation mobile architecture using technologies like Flutter, iOS, or Android.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end product functionality.
Engage in coding, debugging, and unit testing of software components.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Contribute to system design requirements and improvements.
Utilize critical thinking to solve complex engineering problems.
Participate in product marketing and quality assurance activities.
Coordinate with remote teams effectively.
Contribute to the development of automated test tools.
Support the mission of improving healthcare technology.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences.
Expertise in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, Dart, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Swift.
Experience with cross-platform technologies (Flutter or ReactNative) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile processes and Atlassian tools.
Experience in BLE communication on mobile platforms is advantageous.
Ability to coordinate with remote teams.
Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
