In Short

  • We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support our growing sales efforts in the West Coast region.
  • Partner with Account Executives to drive technical pre-sales engagements.
  • Showcase Cortex’s value to prospective customers.
  • Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on best practices.
  • Address technical objections and help remove barriers to adoption.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering based on customer feedback.
  • Assist in RFPs, security reviews, and compliance discussions.
  • Support post-sale transitions with Customer Success.
  • Work in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or similar technical pre-sales role.
  • Strong technical background in developer tooling, DevOps, or cloud technologies.
  • Experience with engineering teams and technical decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with the APAC market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or cloud platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
