• Define architecture and best practices for large portions of the product.
• Lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of scalable backend systems.
• Implement core systems technologies for scalability and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality software.
• Understanding of computer science concepts and design patterns.
• Knowledge of database technologies (NoSQL).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to mentor and coach engineering team members.
• Experience at a startup is a plus.
