Litigation Intern - Remote

Overview

The Litigation Intern at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for docket updating and maintenance as well as report generation, providing an opportunity to work with legal experts in various fields.

In Short

• Assist in updating the litigation docket based on internal notes and databases.
• Maintain communication with the Litigation Paralegal and Assistant General Counsel.
• Generate report templates and calendars to track case statuses.
• Collaborate on creating standard operating procedures for the litigation docket.
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
• Internship expected to last through the end of 2025.
• Work directly under the Assistant General Counsel.
• Opportunity to gain experience in contracting and employment law.
• Ideal for students who have completed one year at an ABA-accredited Law School.
• Focus on detail-oriented tasks and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Completed one year at an ABA-accredited Law School.
• Knowledge of basic legal concepts in litigation and employment law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with databases and data management is a plus.
