Customer Service Representative - Remote

Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for facilitating quality quotations, purchase orders, and work orders to exceed customer expectations while providing prompt and professional responses to customer requests.

In Short

• Facilitate accurate quotations and orders.
• Maintain and grow sales from active and past customers.
• Data entry into Oracle with accuracy.
• Coordinate scheduling and delivery across multiple sites.
• Provide product knowledge and customer support.
• Manage claims and account reconciliation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Assist Outside Sales with quoting.
• Learn and understand the commercial/industrial product line.
• Accept inbound calls to assist customers.

Requirements

• High math aptitude for calculations.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn and apply training effectively.
• Proactive decision-making based on customer needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Project management and negotiation skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read building drawings.
• Minimum 2-year post-secondary education.
• 2+ years of construction products sales experience preferred.
