Customer Service Representative 1 - Remote

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative 1 is to facilitate quality and accurate Quotations, Purchase Orders, and Work Orders to ensure customer expectations are exceeded as well as prompt, courteous and professional responses to customer requests.

• Facilitate accurate quotations and orders to exceed customer expectations.
• Perform data entry for orders into Oracle.
• Coordinate scheduling and delivery for multiple plant sites.
• Provide product knowledge and customer support.
• Manage claims and account transactions.
• Communicate effectively with various functions.
• Assist with inbound customer calls.
• Learn and support designated product lines.
• Assist Outside Sales with quoting.

Requirements

• High math aptitude for calculating square footage.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn and apply training effectively.
• Proactive decision-making based on customer needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Project management and negotiation skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read building drawings.
• Minimum 2-year post-secondary education required.
• Bilingual and previous roofing experience are a plus.
