Components Estimator - Remote

Overview

Roof & Wall Estimators are responsible for providing direct support to internal and external customers by creating and supplying computer generated take-offs and detailed material lists using company supported applications.

In Short

• Prepares estimates from contract drawings and specifications.
• Identifies exclusions and discrepancies in project information.
• Executes special pricing requests for estimates.
• Maintains vendor/customer relationships.
• Communicates with various stakeholders for project clarification.
• Ensures efficient use of company time in a remote work environment.
• Reports to the Estimating Manager or Team Leader.
• May require occasional work-related travel.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; related certificate/degree preferred.
• Good mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret project specifications and blueprints.
• Competency in estimating applications and Excel.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Basic knowledge of metal building products preferred.
• Basic understanding of CAD software required.
