In Short

• We’re excited to welcome a Cost Estimator based in the Washington, D.C. regional metropolitan area.
• This is a flexible, remote, hybrid role.
• You will create estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations at all levels of project development.
• Provide conceptual-level estimates and detailed quantity take-offs.
• Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures.
• Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to project goals.
• Research and develop sources/vendors for maintaining the accuracy of cost information.
• Support business development efforts by creating cost exhibits for proposals.
• A minimum of 5 years as a cost estimating professional is required.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check for Federal contractor clearance.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in cost estimating, preferably as a consultant.
• Ability to interpret construction documents at all levels of design.
• Expert user of industry software for quantity take-off.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel user and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred.
