Remote Support Engineer II - Networking

Overview

As a Remote Support Engineer II at Coretelligent, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our clients’ network environments across Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Ubiquiti platforms.

In Short

• Provide advanced remote support for networking environments.
• Manage firewall policies, VPNs, routing, and switching configurations.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Analyze traffic flows and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for vendor escalations.
• Assist with firmware upgrades and cloud network integration.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers on networking fundamentals.
• Participate in maintenance windows and after-hours escalations.
• Maintain departmental SLAs and client satisfaction goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Fortinet and Cisco.
• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration and VPN setup.
• Proficient with FortiGate, Cisco ASA/Catalyst/Meraki.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and NAT.
• Experience using network monitoring tools.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment.
