Overview

Corcept is leading the way in the research and development of cortisol modulators, molecules that regulate cortisol activity at the glucocorticoid receptor (GR). To date, we have discovered more than 1,000 selective proprietary cortisol modulators.

In 2012, we received FDA approval of Korlym® (mifepristone), the first approved treatment for hypercortisolism (Cushing’s syndrome).

In Short

• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and the medical information call center vendor.
• Oversee the implementation and management of call center operations.
• Conduct comprehensive literature searches to gather and analyze scientific data.
• Create and maintain accurate, fair-balanced standard response letters.
• Develop and execute medical information strategies to support therapeutic and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate medical information dissemination.
• Analyze inquiry data to identify trends and insights.
• Maintain an advanced level of therapeutic knowledge relevant to the company’s product portfolio.
• Lead quality assurance programs for medical information activities.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with medical information databases and CRM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with individual initiative.
• Excellent data analysis, synthesis, medical writing, and editorial skills.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Strong proficiency using scientific search engines.
• Ability to travel for conferences and meetings.
• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent).
• 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
