Commissioning Engineer - Remote

Overview

SHICK ESTEVE builds custom equipment for the food industry, particularly in baking, and is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to ensure the successful startup of installations at industrial clients both in France and internationally.

In Short

• Ensure the startup of equipment installations at client sites.
• Finalize settings and ensure proper equipment commissioning.
• Modify automation programs for client recipes.
• Coordinate with project managers and technical teams.
• Train client teams on equipment use.
• Ensure client satisfaction and sign-off on project completion.
• Provide feedback for equipment optimization.
• Travel globally with a high frequency (close to 100%).
• Utilize technical curiosity in diverse projects.
• Work autonomously in a key role representing the brand.

Requirements

• Degree in Electromechanics or Automation.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance/installation.
• Field intervention experience.
• Familiarity with automation systems (Siemens or equivalent).
• Electrical certification preferred.
• Technical curiosity for mechanical and industrial computing projects.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Good command of English (oral and written).
• Desire for responsibility and autonomy.
• Ability to work with demanding industrial clients.
