SHICK ESTEVE, based in Rians (18), builds custom equipment for the food industry, particularly in baking. We are now a brand of COPERION, part of the Hillenbrand Group. You may already know us without realizing it! If you enjoy your baguette, there’s a good chance our equipment was chosen to manage the storage of ingredients, transfer, and dosing of powders related to bread production. We are recruiting an APPRENTICE AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN for our Automation Design Office.

In Short

• Join our Automation Design Office team.
• Receive training in programming and testing automation functions of our equipment.
• Program our automates and HMIs (Siemens, Rockwell, or client-selected software).
• Conduct workshop testing of our equipment.
• Participate in our continuous improvement initiatives.
• Potential involvement in R&D projects to strengthen our technological edge.
• Requires being open to a role that may involve travel and on-call duties.
• Training will be provided by a team of experts.
• Possibility of a permanent contract upon completion of the apprenticeship.
• A vehicle is necessary due to our rural site location.

Requirements

• Education in GEII / Professional License in Automation (or equivalent).
• Looking for a one-year apprenticeship.
• Skills or interest in Siemens programming.
• Basic knowledge in electricity and mechanics is a plus.
• Good English skills (oral and written).
