Feed Mill Automation Technician - Remote

Overview

The Feed Mill Automation Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and supporting the Micro Technologies Pro Control Batching system, ensuring timely feeding of cattle and troubleshooting various technical issues.

In Short

• Install and service Micro Technologies Pro Control Batching system.
• Travel up to 50% of the time for on-site support.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Train staff on PCB system usage.
• Update and maintain PCB systems for optimal performance.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation.
• Work with diverse hardware including PLCs and network equipment.
• Consult with managers to develop best solutions.
• Ensure compliance with feed management systems.
• Monitor and calibrate equipment for optimal functioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Associate degree in relevant fields.
• Experience in technical fields preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of PCs, PLCs, and related software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
