Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Technical Customer Consultant for our client in Olten. As a Technical Customer Consultant in the IT sector, you will be the first point of contact for our SME end-users, handling support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system, documenting them carefully, and finding efficient solutions for technical challenges.

In Short

  • Handle and process IT support requests (1st Level).
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues in Windows or Mac environments.
  • Support topics related to Active Directory, networks, VPN, and Office 365.
  • Document requests in the ticketing system.
  • Advise users on more complex IT questions.
  • Work closely with the team to continuously improve support.

Requirements

  • Completed education (EFZ) in IT or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows OS or Mac OS.
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory, networks, VPN, and Office 365.
  • Initial experience in telephone IT support or service desk.
  • Strong communication skills, tact, and diplomatic presence.
  • Structured, conscientious, and customer-oriented work style.
  • Team player and openness to new technologies.
  • Possibly initial experience with ITIL processes.
  • Knowledge of remote support tools.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Basic knowledge in Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Very good German and French or Italian language skills; English skills are an advantage.
