Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Technical Customer Consultant for our client in Bern. As a Technical Customer Consultant in the IT sector, you will be the first point of contact for our SME end users. You will handle support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system, document them carefully, and find efficient solutions for technical challenges.

In Short

  • Handle and process IT support requests (1st Level)
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues in Windows or Mac environments
  • Support topics related to Active Directory, networks, VPN, and Office 365
  • Document requests in the ticketing system
  • Advise users on complex IT questions
  • Collaborate closely with the team for continuous support improvement

Requirements

  • Completed training (EFZ) in computer science or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of Windows OS or Mac OS
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory, networks, VPN, and Office 365
  • Initial experience in telephone IT support or service desk
  • Strong communication skills, tact, and diplomatic demeanor
  • Structured, conscientious, and customer-oriented work style
  • Team player and openness to new technologies
  • Very good German skills and a second national language (e.g., French or Italian)
  • Possibly initial experience with ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of remote support tools
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
  • Basic knowledge in Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Very good German and French or Italian skills, English skills are an advantage
