Overview

As an Account Executive at Contentful, you will lead the end-to-end sales process, driving revenue and uncovering upsell opportunities while collaborating with Customer Experience and Marketing teams.

In Short

  • Self-generate pipeline through outbound motions.
  • Negotiate and expand opportunities with existing clients.
  • Grow accounts using a “land and expand” model.
  • Meet sales goals by developing strategies and managing processes.
  • Manage RFI/RFQ requests.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams.
  • Understand digital experience challenges of clients.
  • Work with Sales Engineers to uncover technical opportunities.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Share best practices with customer success and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience selling a technical platform.
  • 4+ years of quota carrying experience.
  • Knowledge of selling SaaS and/or PaaS platforms.
  • 2+ years of account growth experience in SaaS/PaaS.
  • Experience selling transactions of $150k+ to large organizations.
  • Experience with Partner ecosystems.
  • Fluent in French.
