As an Account Executive at Contentful, you will lead the end-to-end sales process, driving revenue and uncovering upsell opportunities while collaborating with various teams to grow a regional customer base.

Self-generate pipeline through outbound motions.
Negotiate and expand opportunities with existing clients.
Grow accounts using a “land and expand” model.
Meet sales goals by developing strategies and managing processes.
Handle RFI/RFQ requests with internal and customer teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams.
Understand digital experience challenges of clients.
Work with Sales Engineers to uncover technical opportunities.
Develop proposals and negotiate contracts efficiently.
Ensure best practices are shared with customers.
Requirements
4+ years of experience selling a technical platform.
4+ years of quota carrying experience.
Knowledge of selling SaaS and/or PaaS platforms.
2+ years of account growth experience in SaaS/PaaS.
Experience selling transactions of $150k+ to large organizations.
Experience with Partner ecosystems.
Fluent in German.
